MAUREEN'S HAVEN,
As we approach the 6th opening of our shelter in November, we have been anxiously wondering – “How will we ever be able to meet the needs of the ever growing numbers of homeless men and women who will come to our doors?” Father Tom continues to assure us that the Lord will provide and once again, last weekend, we were reminded that the Lord is “walking along” beside us. Your response to the call for monetary and toiletry donations has been so generous. We know that economic conditions are so hard and yet many of you are giving despite your own hardships. We are sincerely grateful for all of the self-sacrifices that are being made for those less fortunate. Truly we are witnessing faith in action here at St. Agnes! The Coordinators .
